HSMAI Executive T.H.I.N.K. – Consumer Electronics Show 2019
T.H.I.N.K. is Travel & Hospitality Innovation, Networking & Knowledge
Hotels company Chief Marketing Officers, Chief Sales Officers, Chief Revenue Officers and Chief Digital Officers know how important it is to understand the implications of new technologies as they relate to consumer behavior, especially the behaviors of traveling consumers.
To foster those insights, HSMAI has partnered with the Consumer Technology Association to produce a private curated tour for hospitality executives at the 2019 International CES –a vibrant event that annually brings the global technology community together to assess, connect, and transact. CES features more than 3,600 exhibitors from around the world unveiling the latest products and services across the full spectrum of consumer technologies. CES attracts over 160,000 attendees and innovators from around the world. A curated tour is the best way to immerse yourself into an experience that is relevant to hospitality and travel.
Attendees of the HSMAI curated tour will have the unique opportunity to meet with targeted exhibitors who have been identified for their innovation and implications for hospitality and travel. A senior economist from the Consumer Electronics Association will brief the HSMAI attendees and escort us through the CES exhibitor halls to showcase and introduce us to key leaders from exhibiting companies. The senior economist will also share insights about the most newsworthy technologies introduced at this year’s show.
Our curated tour includes the legacy Tech East and Tech West exhibitor halls as well as an opportunity to meet with selected companies at C Space at CES. C Space is the CES experience for creative communicators, brand marketers, advertising agencies, digital publishers and social networks. It tells the story of how content, creativity, technology and influencers come together to discover new ways to elevate their industry, business and brand.
Here is a recap of the implications identified by participants in the 2017 and 2018 Executive THINK at CES program:
"Attending CES will reconnect you to that feeling of wonder and awe and possibility in ways you may have forgotten.
The experience will impact your thinking about every facet of the hospitality industry."
-- Dr. Lalia Rach
