Who Do Chief Revenue Officers Think Is a Visionary?

Sometimes it helps to aim big. At HSMAI’s Chief Revenue Officer Executive Roundtable on June 21, facilitators Lalia Rach and Bonnie Buckhiester kicked off a series of live polling questions by asking participants — CROs at both brand and hotel management companies — something aspirational: What hotel industry leader to you define as a visionary? There are some names you’d expect — Bill Marriott and Conrad Hilton, of course — and maybe a few you wouldn’t but nonetheless make perfect sense, such as Ian Schrager, who helped create the boutique-hotel concept. It’s an interesting list, and prompted an interesting discussion at the CRO Executive Roundtable.
