HSMAI Global has established an organizing committee with the intent to charter a chapter in Dubai. The organizing committee includes:

Chair: Kristie Goshow is Group Director of Distribution Marketing for the

Kent Cooper oversees the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies, plans, and budgets for transitional Fairmont hotels in the Middle East and Africa, as well as monitoring and maximizing the sales and marketing strategies and initiatives for the operational hotels within the region.

Stuart Jauncey is Dean of the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management. Dr. Jauncey is a consummate hospitality professional, with many years of experience in the field.

Richard Lewis, Dutco Group, General Manager, Hospitality. Richard has over twelve years international work experience including eight in the U.A.E. An international speaker and panelist who has presented on subjects ranging from hotel branding in the luxury market to eCommerce strategy.

Lee Mancini is the eCommerce manager for Emirates Hotels & Resorts, part of the Emirates Airline group. Lee is directly responsible for all aspects of eCommerce development and promotion as well as the distribution platform of the Hotel Group.

Tom Rowntree is Vice President, Commercial, Middle East and Africa InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and has worked within IHG for over nine years. In his current role Rowntree is directly responsible for implementing and integrating all Sales, Marketing and Revenue functions across the portfolio of hotel brands in the region including; Intercontinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, and Holiday Inn Express, with the region’s first Staybridge Suites due to launch later this year.
