Mark Earle has over 27 years of progressively responsible experience in aviation and airport management. As the Director of Aviation for the City of Colorado Springs, Earle oversees all aspects of the management, operation, maintenance and development of the Colorado Springs Airport (COS). In this position, Earle is responsible for a $22 million annual operating budget and a 6-year, $150 million capital development program. In addition to his aviation duties, Earle has been tasked with making the Colorado Springs Airport into an engine for regional economic development. This is being accomplished through the development of airport property in partnership with private sector investors. The focal point of this effort is a 1,000 acre business park that is structured to attract new industry and investment to Colorado.
