CRME – Certified Revenue Management Executive
The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) developed the certification in revenue management - the CRME. Individuals working in revenue management in the hospitality industry, if they meet the minimum qualifications, can take an online examination offering them a chance to confirm their knowledge, experience, and capabilities in their field.
"I'm proud to have HSMAI's Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME) designation. The certification allows me to sharpen my revenue skills along with separating me from my competitors. I believe the minute we think we know it all, we get stale. The certification and subsequent articles HSMAI's Revenue Management Advisory Board have produced allow me to continue learning and challenge how I approach my pricing and strategies." -- Elizabeth P. Cambra, CRME, Corporate Director, Pricing & Revenue Optimization, Outrigger Enterprises Group
The CRME designation is recognition that you are:
- A professional in the field of revenue management and clearly conversant with its intricacies and importance
- Competent to develop an infrastructure to support revenue management within the framework of an organization
- Able to maximize revenue opportunities and optimize profits by managing revenue
- Capable of making informed decisions to accept or reject pieces of business to meet overall organizational goals
- Proficient at the art and science of revenue management
