Resort Marketer of the Year Award
This award recognizes and promotes excellence in the field of resort marketing in the hospitality industry.
Nominations for the award come from HSMAI chapters and the industry at large, and nominees represent the very best in resort marketing. From nominations received, two (2) finalists will be determined and notified. The finalists will receive a complimentary registration to the HSMAI Resort Marketing Strategy Conference in Phoenix, Arizona (August 30, 2011) where the winner will be announced.

HSMAI chapters are encouraged to nominate local resort marketing professionals who meet the award criteria.

The project began as a response to the “AIG Effect” which has taken an incredible toll especially on the resort sector of our industry. Under the leadership of the HSMAI Resort Marketing Council, the project evolved to also address the challenges all of HSMAI’s members have in the face of the struggling economy.
